ABOUT

 

On a street in Istanbul. On one side, masked people fire slingshots and on the other, riot police are taking up positions. The balance of power proves fragile. Between the two fronts, daily life goes on. Tea is served, taxis go about their business. A film about the conquest of public space.

 

The project exists in two versions:

- 2-channel video installation with sound

  can be built in different ways

- 1-channel video / short film

   suits more traditional screening formats for film such as
   cinema or television, but also available for exhibition
